๐ Preserving Railway History: The Hound Line Railroad Welcomes Tram No. 176

Purchased by the railroad a few weeks ago, this classic streetcar boasts a rich European heritage, having previously operated on the urban transit lines of Munich, Germany, and Zurich, Switzerland. Now, it is traded continental cityscapes for our local rails. Exciting news for rail enthusiasts and commuters alike!
A remarkable piece of transit history has officially arrived at Barkshire Junction. Earlier today, a flatbed truck pulled into the station carrying the newest asset of the HoundLine Railroad: a beautifully restored, electric blue tram numbered 176.
A New Way to Travel: The Barkshire-Mutthaven Shuttle
The Hound Line Railroad plans to put Tram No. 176 to work immediately. It will anchor a brand-new shuttle service running between Barkshire Junction and Mutthaven. This commuter link will offer passengers a unique, scenic, and nostalgic transit experience.
Management is incredibly optimistic about the project. In fact, anticipating high demand and widespread popularity, the Hound Line Railroad is already actively shopping around for a second tram to expand the fleet and increase service frequency.
Capturing the Moment
The arrival drew a small crowd of onlookers and railway staff at the historic Barkshire Junction station. Workers and visitors gathered by the tracks to inspect the vibrant blue streetcar as it sat secured to the transport trailer, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our local rail line.
Stay tuned for official updates on scheduling, ticket pricing, and the official launch date of the Barkshire-Mutthaven shuttle service!
