🌦️ Sunshine Breaks Through As The HoundLine Crew Stabilizes Flooded Tracks

The heavy, long-lasting rain that challenged our railway network is finally moving out, giving way to clearing skies and a much-needed break in the weather. While The HoundLine Railroad was spared the worst of the national storm damage, our maintenance teams have been working continuously to monitor and secure our lines.

Mrs Wassana smiling and wearing a yellow hard hat and a work uniform stands on a flooded railway track as a human crew operates equipment on a maintenance vehicle under a clearing sunset sky.

Leading the charge is our dedicated crew supervisor, Mrs. Wassana (pictured front center), who has been directing the safety inspection and stabilization efforts directly from the tracks.

Smooth Operations Under Clearing Skies

With the storm clearing, the team is making great progress inspecting the partially flooded sections of the line. Mrs. Wassana and her crew are utilizing their small specialized track vehicle to navigate the affected areas efficiently, ensuring the rails remain stable and safe for upcoming train schedules. Outfitted in their safety gear, the crew’s hard work is ensuring that our infrastructure remains completely secure as the floodwaters begin to recede.

Looking Forward

Thanks to the rapid response and steady operation of the track maintenance team, services are running smoothly with minimal disruptions. The elevated inspection schedule will continue over the next few days as a precaution, but the worst of the weather is officially behind us.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Wassana and the entire crew for their incredible work, high spirits, and dedication to keeping The HoundLine moving safely through the storm! For an up-to-date weather report, you can click here.
